Morlon series in aluminium-bronze (1931-1947)
This 50 centimes coin in aluminium-bronze, 91% copper and 9% aluminium, belongs to the type designed by the engraver Pierre-Alexandre Morlon (1878-1951) and struck from 1931 in 50 centimes, 1 franc and 2 francs. On these three denominations, the bust of the Republic always faces left, and the reverse shows two cornucopias around the value.
