Iron 1 øre of Haakon VII (1918-1921)
This iron 1 øre coin was struck under Haakon VII during the First World War and just after. Iron then replaced bronze, from 1918 to 1921, the design remained that of the bronze coin, engraved by Ivar Throndsen: the crowned monogram H7 and the value between three triskelions. The 1919 date has 12,930,000 pieces.
