Obverse: the bust of Francisco de Paula Santander facing right, with the name of the country in a curved legend on the sides and at the top, near the edge, and the date at the bottom. NOTE (for KM#208.2): Almost all the coins from 1946 to 1951 show a new strike of the date over 1945. Coins without any 1945 or with a very marked 1945 are worth more for specialists. There are variations.
